[linux-dvb] "BootARM fail"?
Hello everybody,
I am new in linux world. Can anybody help me?
With some day before I buy a Fujitsu-Siemens DVB Sat card. The card work
good with the drivers provided by Siemens, but with those drivers is very
painful to select a frequency and to search a channel and this is why I
installed the latest drivers from TechnoTrend (2.02 if I remember exactly).
The card was working, but in a moment, when I tried to change the channel,
there was an error message from windows and the application it was switched
off. After that I try to restart the application but I receive an error
message from application : "BootARM fail". After that I reinstall the
original driver and after that the application from Siemens works. I remove
the Siemens driver again and I reinstall the TechnoTrend driver and
application, everything was ok until I was trying to search a new channel.
I receive the same error message, but from this moment was impossible to
use the card. I try to reinstall the driver and application but after that
the application from Siemens not start. Also I reinstall the windows and
the drivers from Siemens but don't work.
If I will try to install the linux driver the card will works ?
I don't know if is a hardware problem or a software problem ?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Ghitsa.
