[linux-dvb] devfs question

Hi 

are the drivers written for devfs only? When I look at the sources (version 
from 13/02/2002)  devfs_fs_kernel.h is included in dvbdev.c without checking 
for CONFIG_DEVFS_FS.

Will the driver work on a non devfs system with two cards (with one card it 
works).

Do you recommend using a devfs enabled system?
