[linux-dvb] insmod errors, Techsan Electronics, DVB, EOL
Hi people,
I just bought a Europe Online Entertainment (EOL) box with the following
DVB card:
ROOT@linux:~# lspci
00:00.0 Host bridge: Relience Computer: Unknown device 0005 (rev 01)
00:04.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA 2164W [Millennium II]
00:05.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905 100BaseTX [Boomerang]
00:06.0 Network controller: Techsan Electronics Co Ltd: Unknown device 2103 (rev 01) <---
00:0f.0 ISA bridge: Compaq Computer Corporation Triflex PCI to ISA Bridge (rev 0c)
00:0f.1 IDE interface: Compaq Computer Corporation Triflex Dual EIDE Controller (rev 0a)
00:11.0 Host bridge: Relience Computer: Unknown device 0005 (rev 01)
01:0a.0 USB Controller: Compaq Computer Corporation USB Open Host Controller (rev 05)
01:0b.0 Network controller: Compaq Computer Corporation Netelligent WS 5100 (rev 10)
01:0c.0 SCSI storage controller: Symbios Logic Inc. (formerly NCR) 53c875 (rev 04)
and on the card I can read TechniSat from a sticker on tuner and there is also a B2C2 FlexCop II chip.
I have kernel 2.4.17 installed with siemens_dvb 0.9.4 drivers. My old DVB card with Philips SAA 7146A H chip
worked just fine. But now, I recompiled same driver sources but when I do make insmod in driver/ directory of
siemens_dvb source I get:
ROOT@linux:/tmp/DVB/driver# make insmod
/usr/src/linux/scripts/pathdown.sh: TOPDIR: parameter null or not set
./makedev.napi
make

Did anybody have same problem and did he manage to solve it?
If somebody know that this card is not supported yet I would appreciate to hear that too?
Thanks
