Thanks for all the replies!

Some new questions:

- was the linux dvb api submitted to tv linux alliance version 1 or 2?

- will the linux-kongress paper be about the version 2 api?

There is documentation for version 1 api, but I haven't seen much for
version 2? Is there work done for that?
