[linux-dvb] DVB functions for signal quality are gone

Hello driver developers,
in the older dvb 0.9.4 there were functions to
get the signal quality like FE_READ_SIGNAL_STRENGTH.
This was used in the "tech patch" what could be a helpful 
tool when something goes wrong and i want to check out
the correct signal from satellite.
In the newer drivers i haven't found this ioctls anymore.
Are they renamed or removed ?
