I don't think that this is related to OSD activity, since I did some of
the tests with OSD disabled ("Wiedergabestatus anzeigen: nein").
Same result.

You might use your own numbering scheme, if you don't use
DVB_API_VERSION, but a different identifier like DVB_API_VERSION_M ;-)
There should be a way to uniquely identify different drivers at compile
time.
