The Av711x is the same chip as in the Nexus cards. Unfortunately, you
need a library from TI called RTSL to make a firmware for it. You
could try the firmware for that comes with the dvb drivers, but it
will probably lack some parts needed for the stand-alone box. There is
also the beginning of a GNU firmware in the linuxtv.org CVS, but noone
has worked on that in a while.
