do you use the 2.5 dvb driver or the "dvb-kernel" driver with the 
makelinks script?

devfs in 2.5 is currently overhauled and some functions now work 
differently. Especially the creation of the symlinks does not work as 
before.

For 2.4. you have to create each directory entry separately (ie. first 
create "dvb", then create "adapter0"), in 2.5. you can now simply call 
it with "dvb/adapter0".

Driver authors are advised to change their drivers accordingly. But -- 
hey -- it's a development kernel... ;-)

I'll have a look at it.
