Your best option right now is to get hold of a Dxr3 or Hollywood+ MPEG 
decoder card from eBay (about 20 quid), and use this with VDR.

I believe there is movement to give MythTV DVB support, but it's early 
days.. and VDR provides a comfortable TV environment with TiVo-like 
features such as 'pause live TV', programmable timers, EPG, etc.
