 Can you please also enable debug messages for the frontend by adding 
"debug=1" to "insmod alps_tdlb7.o". I would like to know the values from 
"sp8870_set_frontend: Delay ( ?? usec)" and if you get "sp8870_set_frontend: 
firmware lockup!" and "sp8870_set_frontend: firmware lockup recovered 
messages!".
