Thanks, I already used your tool (if you mean getfrontend).
But I don't know exactly what the output means.
On a good channel I get
Signal=24158, Verror=484840, SNR=60909dB, QAM_256, FREQ=569.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=23644, Verror=484840, SNR=60652dB, QAM_256, FREQ=569.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=23130, Verror=482170, SNR=60909dB, QAM_256, FREQ=569.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=22616, Verror=482170, SNR=60652dB, QAM_256, FREQ=569.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=21845, Verror=482170, SNR=60652dB, QAM_256, FREQ=569.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
On a bad channel (with many artefacts)
Signal=0, Verror=1167410, SNR=60138dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=1, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=0, Verror=1171100, SNR=60138dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=4, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=0, Verror=1171100, SNR=60395dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=1, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=0, Verror=1171100, SNR=60395dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=2, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=0, Verror=1171100, SNR=60138dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=1, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=0, Verror=1152800, SNR=60395dB, QAM_256, FREQ=377.979786MHz,
SR=6.900000Msym, INV=OFF, BlockErrors=2, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Sometimes Verror is up to 2.000.000 and BlockErrors is up to 50.
What does this mean.
Signal ist between -1, 0 and a very high number (I think this doesn't really
work).
You have a lot of patches for the drivers.
Some changes are incorporated in the current driver.
Do you know some changes that have to be made so that QAM_256 will work
better (optimized)?
Thanks for your help.
