[linux-dvb] dvb-kernel & DVB-C tuning issues
Hi all,
today I checked out the dvb-kernel driver and build it successfully for
kernel 2.4. It loaded fine on my Hauppauge FF DVB-C, but I have trouble tuning
channels. First there is no picture comming on a FTA channel (ARD is the
default channel after start-up) and switching between FTA channels sometimes brings
up a picture, sometimes not.
How can I debug this issue? I'm loading the dvb-ttpci.o with option
hw_sections=0. If I try to "insmod.sh debug" I get:
Inserting av7110 modules (debug) into kernel
Warning: ignoring saa7146_debug=247, no such parameter in this module
Module saa7146_vv loaded, with warnings
BTW linux-dvb driver works fine, no tuning issues at all. Could it be due to
the recent dvb-demux.c changes? Are the DVB-C tuning improvements (disable
zig-zag) ported to dvb-kernel too?
Thanks for your work! Thomas
