[linux-dvb] About using my WinTV-NOVA-CI PCI
Hello,
I use kernel 2.6.1 and wanted to use my DVB-S budget card to watch TV.
/var/log/messages :
[...]

Jan 11 10:52:51 erde kernel: saa7146: register extension 'budget_ci

So I guess it is recognized correctly, isn't it?
lsmod :

Until here I think everything is okay...
When I want to use szap the problems start:
erde:/usr/src/DVB/driver# /usr/src/DVB/apps/szap/szap -r -n 2
zapping to 'ZDF':
sat 0, frequency = 11954 MHz H, symbolrate 27500000, vpid = 0x006e, apid
= 0x0078
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
opening frontend failed: No such device
This is a version of szap which worked fine under 2.4, is it too old?
I think the problem is that the devices don't exist, but how can I solve
this problem?
Can somebody help me?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Sincerly Patrick
