[linux-dvb] Re: Empty /dev/dvb when using kernel 2.6

As an alternative you could compile the dvb-kernel driver into the kernel. It's very easy to do and works great.

devfs is depricated under 2.6, did you compile it in?

Have you got the firmware image installed?

Are there any offending messages under dmesg?
