[linux-dvb] ntuxplayer hangs appending "&" :(

Hi,

I have trouble running ntuxplayer with the "&" sign for putting 
ntuxplayer at the background. I really don't understand :

/usr/local/bin/ntuxplayer --adaptor 2 /usr/local/shell/pub/darkdog.mpg

works fine. When I add the "&" sign :

[root@STARS root]# /usr/local/bin/ntuxplayer --adaptor 2 
/usr/local/shell/pub/darkdog.mpg &
[1] 23464
[root@STARS root]# VIDEO SET ID : Invalid argument


[1]+  Stopped                 /usr/local/bin/ntuxplayer --adaptor 2 
/usr/local/shell/pub/darkdog.mpg



it hangs there. It just gets stuck. To stop it, I have to do a "killall 
-9 ntuxplayer" :

[root@STARS root]# killall -9 ntuxplayer
[1]+  Killed                  /usr/local/bin/ntuxplayer --adaptor 2 
/usr/local/shell/pub/darkdog.mpg


I really need this to be working. Thanks for your help.
