Hi, me again. Done some further testing:
Ok, I was too dumb to use the filters... It helps to tick at least tv or radio and then one of the other buttons to make it work...so OK, filters work :-)Furtermore I probably was to dumb to use filters. Must they beAfter scanning it didn't seem to work.
Don't understand why :(
could you retry with different combinations ? ( you may want to backup your ~/kaxtv/channels.kax first )
Timeshifting really seems to be unstable. First time I used it, pressing play again gave me some strange slow motion corrupted video and then kaxtv crashed after switching desktop workspace. Next start it worked ok for a few switches (even from timeshifted state). Then after switching from timeshifted state it hung on "reading stream info". But pressing pause and then selecting a channel made it working again.Timeshifting works nicely (in contrast to xine's one) except the loop problem you hinted at. BUT I tried to switch a channel while watching time shifted channel and then it hang. Without using timeshifting this didn't happen.
Does it happen every time ? it works here. What if you press the stop button before switching ?
Ok, nice. But I get some squares in the text, like in some channel names I reported earlier.EPG works, as well. More EPG highly apreciated. :-)right click on a row to get a popup :)
