[linux-dvb] Re: Getting the Pinnacle PCTV SAT CI to work

Hi,
I'm trying to get my pctv sat ci to work on my linux pc. But so far
nothing but troubles.
I'm using gentoo with the 2.6.5 kernel.
The drivers seems to be loaded correctly (as module and in-kernel).
Here a part of dmesg:
bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:00:0f.0, irq: 5, latency: 32, mmio:
0xd7000000
bttv0: detected: Pinnacle PCTV SAT CI [card=113], PCI subsystem ID is
11bd:0026
bttv0: using: Twinhan DST + clones [card=113,autodetected]
bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=00f500fd [init]
bttv0: using tuner=4
bttv0: add subdevice "dvb0"
But the problem i have is that there isn't a device video0, wich is
needed to work.
Even when i enable all dvb devices in the kernel i still won't get a
video0 in my /dev/dvb/adapter0
I get the following devices: demux0, dvr0, frontend0, net0.
These budget cards don't have a video output, only MPEG2 from dvr0.
Use mplayer or xine or something like that to watch the stream from dvr0

Brad
