First of all my goal is to install my Hauppauge Nexus-s card on my Fedora1 box and use it with mythtv
I've installed the 2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at kernel and tried to install the video4linux and linuxtv-dvb rpm packages
from the ATrpm site but I got some errors while installing and the card wasn't initialized according to the output from dmesg.
Here is what I did and all the errors:
[root@Ropla flash]# rpm -ivh kernel-module-video4linux-2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at-20040513_184431-44.rhfc1.at.i686.rpm
[root@Ropla flash]# rpm -ivh video4linux-20040513_184431-44.rhfc1.at.i386.rpm
root@Ropla 1]# rpm -ivh --force kernel-module-linuxtv-dvb-2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at-1.1.1-4.rhfc1.at.i686.rpm
Used the force option because of:
file v4l1-compat.o from install of kernel-module-linuxtv-dvb conflicts with file from package kernel-module-video4linux
file v4l2-common.o from install of kernel-module-linuxtv-dvb conflicts with file from package kernel-module-video4linux
file video-buf.o from install of kernel-module-linuxtv-dvb conflicts with file from package kernel-module-video4linux
Got the following errors:

not exist - using root
The dvb-ttpci-info.txt says Warning: no firmware file for the av7110 driver found. echo the driver will *not* be build.
[root@Ropla flash]# rpm -ivh linuxtv-dvb-1.1.1-4.rhfc1.at.i386.rpm
Preparing...
########################################### [100%]
1:linuxtv-dvb-1.1.1 ########################################### [100%]
After rebooting I ran dmesg without any success. Finally I did a /sbin/depmod -a whith the following two errrors:
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/video/media/dvb-core.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at/updates/drivers/video/media/saa7146_vv.o
Now I don't know what to do or how to solve my problem.
