[linux-dvb] Re: dvbsnoop freezes system // driver issue?
Hi,
The freezes may be a dvb card driver issue, because dvbsnoop should
not be able to freeze your system.
Please address your problem in the linuxtv maillist.
For a test, try
dvbsnoop -s pidscan -pd 9 -f 16
-f will limit the number of filters used for pidscan.
You may increase/decrease this value for testing.
If your system crashes on a higher value, your dvb driver
will not return an error code back to dvbsnoop, but crashes.
The driver should be fixed.

Strange, FE_CAN_CLEAN_SETUP is part of API3, isn't it?
