[linux-dvb] DVB related bug in 2.6.8 and following

Hi,

Andrew Morton constantly reminds me of the following problem:

I know this is old code, but we should at least be so kind and find the 
source of the problem, shouldn't we? 8-)

I looked at the code, but didn't find anything suspicous. I'm currently 
trying to reproduce it on my test system, but I'm not very confident 
that it will happen for me, too.

The author of the bug describes how to reproduce the bug without running 
VDR. Perhaps it's some sort of race condition with "evdev"?

If somebody has some time to spare, it would be cool to get some 
feedback regarding this problem.
