[linux-dvb] Nova-T - whats wrong with this?

I am trying to get the cx88_DVB drivers to load instead of the 
cx88_blackbirt for my Hauppaugge Nova-T card.

According to man modprope.conf the following should work, but the blackbird 
drivers still load instead.  Is there a better way?

added to /etc/modprobe.conf
install cx88_DVB /sbin/modprobe cx88_blackbird; 
/sbin/modprobe --ignore-install cx88_DVB
remove cx88_DVB /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove cx88_DVB && 
/sbin/modprobe -r cx88_blackbird

Fedora FC3, kernel 2.6.10
