[mpeg2] Kfir driver hangs the system while doing insmod

Hi,

I am using the kfir driver of the CVS version.
Even, I have tried the earlier releases.

insmod kfir.o vidinmode=1 vidoutmode=0 vidinput=0

The output is

kfir: Kfir board revision 5e
loaded microcode with length 32385
kfir: Reset Altera
**********************************

And it hangs.
The PC used is DELL PC with intel processor. Any idea or
pointers to this.Please let me know.
