[vdr] Attachments problems

It's ok that no attachment are forwardered to the list.

Pasting even diffs into the body often fails because of
"reformating" and is anoying for all.

But would it be possible to advance the list software
in a way that the attachments are stored on a HTPP Server
and replaced by an URL in the eMail?

So everybody who wants the patch can get ist.
Even he has "email-only" access he can use a http2email gateway.

An easy attempt may be if the (http-)archive stores the emails
inclusive attachments.


What are the cons?
How can this be abused? (A more and more important question today...)
