[vdr] Re: vdr[3330]: ERROR: can't record MPEG1! - possible cause
andreas@aschultz.net(Andreas Schultz) 22.09.01 15:09
Once upon a time Andreas Schultz shaped the electrons to say...
>>>An untested patch for the problem.is attached.
Tried the one you sent me by mail.
In some source "_GNU_SOURCE" is alreaddy defined
so a benign warning is coming.
But now it compiles out-of-the box.
I get still the MPEG1 errors, but the machine -at least- do not
always hang after 1..2 Minutes (but do after 10 or 20 ;-))
The recording taken from the second card is garbage.
Only in upper 5% of screen is new image.
The audio is broken (stakkato)
The recording taken (same time, other channel!) with the first card
is ok.
(Next time i will try to record same channel on both cards...)
While typing that VDR died while recording.
In the console i could read:
--------------------------------------------
... some "[<0105..." scrolled away...
[<c0105027>]
Code: f3 05 0a 02 64 02 ....
Kernel panic: AIee killing interrupt handler.
lirc_serial: buffer overflow.
...
