[vdr] ERROR: can't record MPEG1

Got an other Hauppauge Nova DVB_s card 
(same 1.1 series, only some dozen numbers ahead):

The result is much better...that indicates a hardware dependend 
problem with that "budget" cards

But there are still problems with a/v sync and artefacts 
with the "new" card too.


Could it be that this is a nova spcific problem?
There were other reports complaining about
a/v async
Is there a problem with the saa7146a?

Just managed to place a version 1.5 (sky1) in the MS-6215 box
as second card: Currently no drops...
or better: no obvious drops...
(CPU is going a little bit hotter now)

Because vdr tries to resync a/v it may be hard to discover
if frames are dropped.

Is there a way to log such resyncs?
