[vdr] Re: alternative language volume?

Once upon a time Klaus Schmidinger shaped the electrons to say...

Why not make VDR "self-learning"?

The user has only a key: VDR, please remember this (relative)
volume setting for this channel&pid.

I made a patch for the DVB driver with a new parameter "volume".
Works sufficient, but i assume that there are guys who want
to setup each card individually...(for example to make
a copy to an analog VCR).
Sent it to the email address mentioned in the driver source,
but did not hear anything.

I am using "200".

The output of the card is currently so loud that the amplifier
is on his most left position. (And: Version 1.5 do distortions at 255)
