yes, chapterskip and fastforward kills vdr.
With Matrix, the menu works.

I've tried "3 Engel fuer Charlie". After pressing "5" in menu, there is a
dark area (where the menu was) left
on the screen during playback, but the menu is working very nice!

"Galaxy Quest": The menu doesn't work (still pictures??), but fastforward
and rewind seems to work (with "random speed", but without killing vdr!).
