I have stopped recording for the book-shelf long time ago. :) 
My experience was that I have never viewed most of the recordings again.
And most of the series I was interested are repeated every year anyway.

That's right, that stopped me from buying the premium on the 100 GB
disks.

That is for sure. May be I will use DVD-R in the future. But currently I
have also stopped buying DVDs because I have enough recordings for the
cold winter days. ;-) And Premiere shows a lot of the interesting movies
a few months later anyway.
