[vdr] Offtopic Network hangs ?

Hi

I know that this question is totally offtopic, but i hope someone can help me ? Or at least could be so kind to tell me a Mailing List where i can find help ?
I'm using a 100Mbit Network card in my VDR Box and try to send the recorded files via ftp on another machine.

Unfortuneately the upload stops after a few seconds an the ftp client drops the datarate and says "- stalled -"
Stopping the ftp client, it seems to me as if the whole nic drivers have crashed because i cannot ping any host on the net :-(
/etc/rc.d/network reload cures this. But another upload again kills the system :-(

Downloading seems to work flawlessly !

I'm afraid this behaviour was introduced since my system upgrade to Athlon XP 1800+ 
Maybe this is too fast for Suse 7.2 ?

Anyone ?
