[vdr] dvbapi.c: operation not allowed

Hi List,
i have one or two small problems when running the system without antenna.
1: Starting vdr a message in the log says
ERROR: (dvbapi.c,3285) operation not allowed.
2: vdr starts up like normal then, tries to switch to a channel and then hangs (no reaction to SIGTERM)
Probably the both symptoms are not connected to the same problem.

I did expect some error messages, 
but as the system is a stand-allone Set-top-box without monitor and keyboard
i'd like to be still able to contoll the system with vdr and RC.
The case of a lost antenna-connection could apear every once in a while 
'cause i switch the antenna between the old analog-reciever and vdr.

if the 3285 is a line within dvbapi.c it says the following:
CHECK(ioctl(fd_video, VIDEO_SET_FORMAT, Format));
in cDvbApi::SetVideoFormat
I'm using vdr99pre1 with the driver from DVB-20011117.

Any ideas, except of plugging in the &%/"$+# antenna?
