If i remember right, vdradmin does not modify the start time of a movie. 
If no time is given in program overview, vdradmin uses the time function
to see what time it is.

Please try a:

 $ date
 
 $ date +%s

 $ perl -e "print time"

and post the output.

Has anybody else this problem?
