[vdr] Re: OT: compact flash to ide adapter for embedded vdr
Hi,
why don't you buy an IDE-Flash-Disk. You wouldn't need an adapter. Some
time ago they were produced by SanDisk. Sizes were from 4MB up to 1GB, I
think. But this is really a nice idea. I needed a soulution to boot from
my 100GB Maxtor disk, which wasn't recognized by the BIOS. I think I will
buy a Flash-Disk and install LILO on this drive. So I should be able to
boot, shouldn't I?
