Hello !

I have found a "SmartMedia to IDE Adapter" which let us use cheaper medias.
http://www.mesanet.com/diskcardinfo.html
Price: 98 USD
Master/Slave selectable.

But, what about booting from such a SmartMedia, do anyone know if this cards
can store a boot-record.

Isn't it also a problem for CF.
