I have the PAL version of CP3025 and IR-Receivers CP2133 for the
integrated Modulator. The IR transmission only works if you have a
direkt connection from modulator to tv. Antenna sockets inbetween are
not allowed.

In year 2000 the cost for the modulator was DM 788 and each IR receiver
was DM 166.
