[vdr] Remote hangs

Hi vdr-friends,

is it possible to give LIRC more process-priority ?
my remote hangs everytime i cut movies or when the system load is
high. This is quite annoying, because it sometimes happens while doing
fast-forward in play mode...sometimes i have to wait for the movie
finishing in ff-mode (except i take my keyboard)
Hope you got suggestions.
