This had been discussed up and down, in and out during the past few days.
Apparently Pro-7 has fu**ed up their EPG data (again), which caused the
EIT scanning routines (which relied on correctly set length fields) to crash.
There is a new version of VDR available at
ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/pub/people/kls/vdr/vdr-0.99pre4.tgz
