is there a solution ie. with pearl wich polls a pop3-account
regulary (say dayly) by cron and wait for a special
formatted email like:
------------------------
subject: vdr-event
channel: 71
day: 28
starttime: 2015
endtime: 2200
name: the best movie at all
----------------------------
an put this to the timer.conf....
I know: there is vdradmin, but it needs a permanent internet
connection if I want set it up from outerspace... and a all time running
computer...
With the email solution, my computer could sleep during my holidays,
wake up once a day, looks for a message from me and go to bed
again...
