A list of all available make parameters can be found in "makevdr" but you're 
right! There _should_ be a README.* file for every single patch. I would like 
to appeal all the patch contributors for creating a short README.<patch> file 
which also includes a changelog. This is getting more important as we switch 
to a plugin system in the next major release of vdr.
