Colors are a very limited resource in the OSD.
Have you looked at the two numbers that can be seen to the
left of a directory? the first one gives you the total number
of recordings in that directory (and any subdirectory thereof),
and the second number shows the number of new (i.e. unviewed)
recordings. So if the second number is not 0, there are new recordings.
