Hm, i know that there are (journaling) FS that overwrites
each deleted file. But of cause, here this can be disabled here

It's really funny:
i have only 50GB for recordings.
If the disc is full, the recording listing took 6 seconds.
If i have 7h free the listing took only -fully acceptable- 2secs.
7 h are less than 14 recordings.
Are that 14 recordings so many files? (Ext3, 2.4.17)
