[vdr] Primary card for playback only

Hi,
first i want to thank all developers for doing
such a great job, watching tv with linux is really great!
My system with two full featured cards is working
really well for quite a while now.
Now i want to upgrade with a third card, a low budged.
What i want is to record two movies at the same time
and watch a recorded one.
I've got only two LNB-cables with no chance for
a third one.
when i connect the LNB to the second and third card, i get
those "channel xy not synched and DVB-card 1"  messages
and the whole system is slowing down, reacts slow
on remote commands etc.
Is there a chance to prevent the first card from tuning?
limiting the channels to a specific card is no solution.
Sorry if this should have been discussed earlier, couldn't find
anything about that...
