[vdr] Re: Setting time without root privileges?
When I implemented this years ago, I was using a system call to set the
time I was not using the external date command, but Klaus may have changed
that, I have no sources here to confirm.

I'm not shure whether vdr uses the date command
@Klaus please confirm this.
