[vdr] I have a dream ;-)

Hi all,
as the subject says: I have a dream.
Now I have a VDR working (without any AIO patch) on my Mandrake 8.2.
This was a test, everything works fine, so I can start to make a fresh
and new installation.
My hardware is:
P233MMX
64 Mbyte RAM
Siemens WinDVB
Creative DVD-Rom 
Creative DXR3

My "dream" is to create a station able to:
1 - Make VDR
2 - Play DVD, VCD, DIVX, blah, blah, and the recorded video from the VDR
menu but using the DXR3 TV-OUT (to enable time shifting).

Any idea about how to realize step 2?
