Brilliant ? I dont know, but this is how I will do it.
First I went digging into the junkbox and found some old internal
rs-232 flatcables with 10-pin flatcable connector in one end
and 9 or 25-pin male d-connector in other end.
Make sure that all 10 wires are connected at the 10-pin connector.
Specially those ending at 9-pin d-connector dont have all 10 wires.
Then cut off the 9 or 25 pin male, instead solder a 9-pin female
connector to the end of the flatcable.
Female, because now you dont make a mistake of using it as
rs-232 connector.
Connect pins
J2 9-pin female
1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 5
6 6
7 7
8 8
9
10 9
There usually is empty place for a 9-pin d-connector in the back of most
computercases.
Make SCART cable accordingly with 9-pin male d-connector in the end.
