This would be very useful if a future version of VDR would support 
all alphanumeric keys of a keyboard. Then it would be possible to use 
a keyboard for entering or renaming titles of recordings. When you 
have connected a keyboard to your vdr box (might be a wireless 
keyboard) its very uncomfortable to have to use the up- and down-key 
for entering alphanumeric titles (even on an mobile phone it's more 
comfortable)...
