[vdr] OT: ext2 question
Hi,
sorry it's far away off topic. But I don't know where to ask else... I
created an ext2 partition with a recent version of mke2fs. But now I'm not
bale to mount it with an older version of e2fsprogs, because the fsck ends
with: unsupported features. tune2fs -l gives me the feature I suppose to
be the trouble maker: dir_index.
Is there any possibility to tune the filesystem to forget this feature or
to tell mke2fs to create a compliant filesystem?
Thanks,
Gernot

Only wimps use tape backup: _real_ men just upload their important stuff
on ftp, and let the rest of the world mirror it.
