[vdr] MPEG2 Capture Card for VDR ?

Hello List

Just a Question:

Is ther a other way to get a old VIDEO into VDR format if i donīt want to buy the
very expensive Mpeg2 Capture-Card (the same one wich klaus use).

I think about a cheeper encoder Card or a simple Hauppauge WINTV
and Software Encoding - but i have tryed this and donīt get usable results
on a 1300mhz System....

If anyone have a better Idea - pleas let me know.
