[vdr] ARM crash, kernel oops, etc
Hello list,
I've compiled a short log excerpt of something that happens frequently by
now... Since changing to vdr-1.1.16 (maybe 15 as well, but I didn't encounter
it) and Linux-HEAD-Driver as seen on Klaus' Page, I can't do _any_ long timed
recordings anymore.
Nov 24 12:45:58 video vdr[10111]: recording thread started (pid=10111)
Nov 24 12:45:59 video vdr[10108]: ERROR (transfer.c,101): Operation not
permitted
Nov 24 12:45:59 video last message repeated 17 times
Nov 24 12:46:37 video kernel: buffer empty
Nov 24 12:49:04 video kernel: GPIO0 irq oops
Nov 24 12:58:34 video last message repeated 4 times
Nov 24 13:04:30 video kernel: av71100: ARM crashed!
Nov 24 13:04:56 video vdr[10109]: ERROR: video data stream broken on device 1
Nov 24 13:04:56 video vdr[10109]: initiating emergency exit
and so on...
Any clue?
IMO everything worked fine till I switched to NEWSTRUCT/HEAD, and with that it
got a little worse every week (With the first appearance of the "heavy osd
usage" bug) ;(.
I'm currently using suse 8.0 with a vanilla kernel 2.4.18 on a via itx system,
vdr-1.1.16, linux-dvb-2002-11-02 (from Klaus' page).
Greetings,
Sascha Volkenandt
