Dear all,
especially Klaus,
I was trying to use my "LIRC.red" not only as red but also as "LIRC.Record"
key. So, what I was targeting at is, make VDR performing an action only at a
special Moment. Example:
- Watching e.g. EinPLus, and all of a sudden I recognize "Der Weltraum" is on
screen - Fine, I missed to programm a timer so I want to start a recording
while the movie starts. Normally (if I would have enough keys on my RC Unit)
I would use a specific key. But, hey - whatfor do we need the colored keys if
we are NOT in a particular OSD MenĂ¼ ???? So, what I would like to request is,
let atleast the Colored keys be used twice in learning keys. This way a nice
RCU like my Philips would be totally enough and navigating will be much
easier for "non-techies" (it is always hard to explain to my girlie, that the
"clock" is for timers and the "videotext" for recordings .. e.g.)
I tried myself to modify remote.conf, but this didn't show up any result,
except that the LIRC.record wasn't accepted.
Did I explain that in an understandable way? So, what do you think ?
regards.
Alex
