[vdr] operation not permitted

I'm trying different versions of dvb-drivers and vdr.
With the following combination of linux-dvb.2002-12-08 and vdr-1.1.20 i
recieve following error in my message file.
Shortly after that the driver crashes...

Jan 14 18:54:26 foobar vdr[7120]: ERROR (dvbdevice.c,477): Operation not
permitted

Any ideas?
